Turning Lease Language into Actionable Compliance
Seabury supports airlines in managing complex aircraft lease obligations, and they needed a faster, more reliable way to interpret lease agreements and connect them to real-world maintenance outcomes. We built a solution that automatically extracts lease requirements from lease documents and translates them into clear, trackable compliance rules. Instead of manually reviewing pages of legal and technical language, their team can now identify critical obligations in minutes, with consistency and accuracy across every aircraft lease.
Matching Lease Requirements to Maintenance Reality
Once requirements are extracted, the platform matches them against available maintenance records to determine whether each obligation will be satisfied by the lease end date. For example, if a lease requires landing gear to be overhauled within 30 months of the lease end date, the system identifies that condition and checks the maintenance documentation to verify whether the overhaul timing meets the requirement. This gives their airline clients a direct line of sight into potential compliance gaps.
Aircraft Scorecards for Decision Confidence
The tool ingests both lease documents and maintenance records, evaluates every requirement, and generates a scorecard for each aircraft showing the compliance status of every lease condition. These scorecards provide a clear, auditable view of what is compliant, what is at risk, and what needs attention.
